My favorite groups are Rush, Yes, Bowie... Newer groups Larkin Poe and Jinjer... Until the Warning. They aren't prog, the music isn't overly complex, but the musicianship is so proficient - the emotion they perform with is over the top - and their writing ability encompasses nearly every rock genre. They grab your attention with the hooks, but there are so many subtleties and nuances you keep listening - in my case, over and over and front to back. My favorite album. And they were young teens (Ale preteen). They are now finding worldwide success - this album will eventually get the recognition it deserves.
