The movie of the year! This is what cinema is all about. I’m so proud of directors like Abishan for believing in their storyline, and the producers/distributors for having the guts to put it out there—in a world where people expect mass scenes, glorified heroes, and high drama.
The editing and screenplay were top notch. No one even realised when the movie ended! The whole theatre was involved throughout—I’ve never seen a film have this kind of effect on an audience. People laughed with the characters, cried with them. It didn’t feel like a debut film at all.
All the actors were phenomenal in their roles, and each of their strengths came through so beautifully. Mulli completely stole the show. The writing was just so, so beautiful. This movie felt like a big warm hug. I’ll always remember it for how it made me feel.
