This is a book about Murray's Crazy Hilarious Stores of living a Life of Crime and then going straight! This is a rather humorous and surprising view of a great guy who started a life of crime early on, and yet became a respectable decent member of society. He learned how to cheat the system, got caught up in some rather sensational major ART finds and then you read as things go south for him and his partners, one criminal activity after another. I loved the book because it's an easy read and it gives you an inside picture and accurate details of criminal activity and scams decades ago and also the behind the scenes scams of the Antique Business. The historical aspects of petty crime in the 50s 60s 70s etc are fascinating, as when Bob started out as a criminal the things he did and what was going on is something that's rare to hear about and it’s oftentimes hilarious. He went from being a criminal to a stint as the head of security detail for Robert Kennedy, in upstate New York. You can't put the book down because you have to find out how the next scam ended and how fortunes were made and lost.
