A huge insight into what we refused to belive was possible under Communism, Russian style. The leaders of that country including the deified Gorbachov, should be ashamed of every dictate and every policy thrust upon the people they governed. The only man who comes out of it with a shred of decency is Boris Yeltsin but of course soon to be seen off by Putin' s Mafia and thoroughly discredited by them throughout the world. This should be required watching by everyone in the Western world.

Utterly fabulous read. Laugh out loud particularly at the names of his characters. Language is beautifully portrayed, ie you can hear them speak and of course the gore is only played as a background to the book'ps purpose. Loved it and will read more of him this year. A great find. Thank you Percival.
