That is just a convenient plot device to throw into sharp relief the actual subject of this film, which is the caste system in our society. It deftly shows how thinly papered-over these cracks that deeply divide our society are, and how easily natural calamities rip off the facade of progressiveness and modernity that urban India wears.

If you want the perfect understanding of why Bollywood movies are flopping of late, watch tu jhoothi.....etc. Mainstream directors have completely lost any semblance of a connect with real life or people. Churning out one vapid self-caricature after another🙄🤮
