Obsessed! Absolutely one of the best books I've read this year! 10/10 would recommend. This is one of those books I wish I could read for the first time again and I'm jealous of everyone who gets to have a first experience with it. About history and colonialism and art; friend and family relationships and love; about the experiences of being part of the Chinese diaspora; about being young and navigating the world and the future. Written with the descriptors and attention to detail of a true artist, this book is worth savouring, but it's so enrapturing you won't be able to put it down. A truly wonderful read and beautiful work by Grace D. Li.
