A complete waste of time. Branagh's Poirot is awful and disrespectful of the true Poirot. This twisted caricature of Hallowe'en Party has a disastrous script, clumsy direction, and made me completely regret giving this version of Poirot a chance. Ridiculous that the story is set in Venice, and that Joyce Reynolds the little girl is now suddenly a Malaysian Chinese medium! Absolutely horrid. Stick to Suchet's Poirot any day! To quote Poirot in Suchet's Hallowe'en Party: "The subject matter, George, it is distasteful."
