Something that stood out for me in this movie is, I loved how the subplot around Alzheimer or Amnesia was used, the filmmakers very wisely didn't show us what was unnecessary—in other words, what had faded from Appupilla's memory. When the mystery was revealed and the film said, "That's enough information," leaving certain things unsaid because the character doesn't remember, it left me stunned. It was one of the most brilliant filmmaking choices I've seen in a long time.
