What started as parody, has descended into a pure passion project by a genuinely talented guy in Matt and his rag tag bunch of pop punk/emo legends (new found glory, Underoath, august burns red ect....) There's some genuine chops when Matt is singing and the features are all standouts (Underoath being a particular favourite of mine). Crazy to say but this feels like the shot in the arm the genre has needed for a while now. With Blinks last outing being slightly underwhelming (again) this is a nostalgic, yet fresh take on the emo/pop punk genre and is way above it's parts.
