I liked shad when I read this, but holy moly is it dreadfully boring and written with a consistent overly technical and unemotional bread tone.
World building seems coolish, shad sure knows the logistics of making and selling a world to the kind of people who enjoyed thr YouTube content he use to make, but the story he's trying to tell is really bad, both poorly written, and morally disgusting. The plot treats rape as more akin to wasting someone's time.
