I love this show so so much and I ship Jelly (Jeremiah and Belly). I love all the characters in this show and in my opinion, there’s nothing that’s not to love. I’ve had The Summer I Turned Pretty, the book series and tv series (of course), on my reading list and watchlist for a while now and now that I can say that I’ve watched The Summer I Turned Pretty, the show, I CANNOT WAIT to read the book series. I really love this show and I recommend it to anyone who wants a good show to watch that gives off young adult vibes but has the same feeling as Outerbanks, the netflix series, and One of us is lying, the book series. I cannot stress this enough. Watch it. I am now currently reatchimg it for the third time and I’ve been watching edits of all the characters and creating my own too! I’ve been watching the interviews of all the cast members and everyone seems so full of life and joyful and genuinely nice, so I am more than happy to watch and support a show with these kind of people. And plus, it’s apparently a lot of the actors in this shows first job opportunity (in regards to acting)!! So happy to see them make it in this industry and I’m glad that more opportunities are coming up for people who are interested in acting. Seeing this show along with an increasing amount of others (as I’m discovering more and more of these types of shows) has inspired me to go and pursue my dreams of becoming an actor and considering that more opportunities are being made available, it’s really been encouraging, inspiring, and motivating me to not give up on my dreams. I went more than a bit off course here, but back to the main focus: the show. It’s a fantastic show, the actors, screenwriters, producers, directors, tech, etc seem to be great people, and the show is to die for. Love to all and stay safe :)
