Excellent debut from a British director. This supernatural tale tells the story of a couple from war torn Sudan and their treacherous journey by boat to reach British shores. They are given asylum and assigned a house in an area that has seen better days,but it is a house that is a sanctuary and a haven for the couple. This is where the story takes an interesting turn ,won't spoil it for anyone. The acting is top notch from the 2 leads and has a tight supporting cast of familiar faces to some.
