Interesting following the process of painting the birds and visiting the various locations. I do find Nancy very unconvincing and adds nothing to the programme - would be better without her

The old adage of "less is more" is certainly true here. Quality performers know how to put poignancy and humour into the simplest of actions.

Having been a lifelong fan of Clint Eastwood I went to see this at the cinema in the early 90s. I was so disappointed with it at the time - couldn't believe Clint would put his name to such a poor film. I happened to see it was on the TV the other day , so I decided to watch it again - some 30 years since my first viewing. It certainly hasn't improved with age , with the only pleasing note being that I was right first time ! Sorry Clint.
