Well made but not without its flaws. Editing could have been sharper but only to reduce the running time. Every character was played well by the actors. Ranbir was brilliant but Anil Kapoor's restrained performance portraying Balbir Singh's conflicted emotions for his son tells you why he is one of the finest actors of his generation. His facial expressions were sufficient to tell you how torn he was between the love for his son and disgust for his son's "Animal" nature. Hats off to Rashmika Mandhana for showing her talent with limited screen time. To say that Bobby Deol was brilliant would be an understatement. Such was his impact on the whole film. One knew what to expect of him, from the trailers (kind of), but it was still a surprise. Kudos to the director for bringing out the best out of all actors. Sandeep Reddy Vanga played his vision out quite well. It has upset a lot of people for sure, but one can't downplay the brilliance of his work. It is a well done film.
Word of appreciation for Siddhant Karnick, Upendra Limaye, Saurabh Sachdeva, Prem Chopra, Shakti Kapoor, Tripti Dimri, Babloo Prithviraj, Saloni Batra, Anshul Chauhan, Charu Shankar and all the supporting cast. Everyone gave a wonderful performance.
