As a 17 year old, I had never really listened to Elvis’s music, obviously I heard many of his songs but I never knew much about him. But, after seeing this film my life has completely changed. I just saw it for the second time this past weekend and I already want to see it for the third time. Austin did an amazing job playing him, his voice, his singing, the whole film captured Elvis beautifully. In some scenes I had almost forgot that it was Austin Butler and it wasn’t actually Elvis. That’s just how good it was. I haven’t been able to get this film out of my mind, it has got to be my favorite movie of all time at the moment. In conclusion, if you’re thinking about seeing Elvis, please do. You will NOT regret it. It’s absolutely beautiful. I love this film with all of my heart. Thank you Baz Luhrmann, you’re an actual genius.
