I just read a nasty review written for Vox on this show. It was...interesting. That review. "Not enough ha-ha's!" they said. "Where is the outrage?" they complained. Vox is owned by Comcast, and also Comcast via NBC (also owned by Comcast) by the way. So they are saying that a news program like this is OK if we can dismiss the guy as not-so-serious because he's a comedian. And it's OK if it's polarizing shouty outrage porn. But a reasoned and genuine approach to "we have a problem, where can we look for a solution" needs to be skewered and fast! Can't have Americans being cool with this guy doing interviews with politicians where he puts them on the spot and makes them squirm. Can't have Americans asking for rational solutions rather than just outrage and soundbites. Huh. Well. That is very...interesting. I'll keep watching. I'm with ya, Jon.
