I am sorry. I live in Austin and this novel is not particularly well written. The back and forth on the days and the plot seems to finally collapse by its own complications with a very unclear ending. Too many chapters going back and forth in time and a very unreal look at forensics, fentanyl, and a person who is supposed to be working at the coronerโs office.

I agree with other viewers. Though Bigelow is a good director, I found this film to be a complete disappointment. This ominous attack never seems to happen; frankly, let Chicago blow up rather than keep the film audience in a WTF head- scratching manner. There are no fleshed out characters, and why is the First Lady in Africa anyway? Basso in the cast? Really? He is a doorstop. Sorry. Ferguson is there for a minute. By the time this was over, I just wish they had blown up the whole world instead of leaving us in limbo,
