Ghaati sets out as a raw revenge drama with a strong female lead at its heart. The first half is gripping โ the Eastern Ghats backdrop, the tribal setting, and Anushka Shettyโs commanding screen presence pull you right in. The atmosphere feels earthy, almost myth-like, and her transformation from an oppressed woman into a symbol of vengeance has weight.
But as the film moves into the second half, the story starts to lose steam. The pacing slows, the villains feel undercooked, and emotional beats donโt land as strongly as they should. It feels like the film had all the right ingredients โ a fresh setting, a strong protagonist, and striking visuals โ but the recipe wasnโt held together well.
On the technical side, the cinematography shines (the Ghats are captured beautifully), but the music and action choreography donโt leave a lasting punch.
