The movie was very intense. All of the actors were awesome. The plot of the story line has its truths of slavery. Some may find it distasteful, but truths of slavery cannot lie. The writers gave enough twists to keep the viewers sitting on the edge of their seats. Janelle has such a strong spiritual acting gift. I feel every young person should watch this; almost a fill in for what's missing out of high school history which seems to be hidden. I give this movie 5 stars. I dont care what the movie critics will have to say. This a definite conversational piece to have with family.
