Great romp not to be taken seriously. Excellent British cast and the Queen Mary character excels in her evilness. A whole lot of fun.

Found impenetrable after 20 minutes. Massive waste of a good cast.

One of few highlights of week. Loving Paloma & Faith & THAT accent. Dark alternative 60's with public executions in street. Good to see not normal glossy Swinging 60's depiction of UK rather a drab era still suffering from post war depression & making do. Taken from the representation of the Queen & aristocracy that it is written by a republican. Terrific cast as well.

Didn't see this coming but loving the killer nun!

Loved it. Cannot imagine anyone but Emma Thompson playing the lead, she owned it.

Forgot they were back. Brilliantly funny new season opener & Gary The Alien excellent bonus gag.

Just walked out of this. Unsympathetic characters, pretentious direction & predictable plot. Funny for wrong reasons but ultimately tedious.

Screen came to life when Taron Egerton started singing & he was excellent throughout. Portrays Elton as a similar victim of the music establishment as Freddie Mercury was in Bohemian Rhapsody which I find hard to swallow: nobody is that naive. The brief marriage was dealt with incredibly superficially with a lot of 'mea culpa' & no chance of any input from the wife/ beard. Mediocre film but excellent performance from TE. Who knew Elton's Mum was Richie Cunningham's daughter as well as a star of Jurassic World; talented family. Oh, & BTW, for the purists, chronological order of songs is FUBB.

Great feel good movie & I don't particulsrly like The Beatles. Very British with lots of sly humour; particular Oasis/Google gag. Left cinema with grin on my face.

Just confirms by comparison how terrific The Newsroom TV show was. All gloss & little content I feel with an above average soundtrack. Reece Witherspoon is wasted here & acts Jennifer Aniston off the screen. It's not a bad show but as a flagship intro to new Apple TV service it's a dud. Netflix will be happy.
