Far too many negatives to write about. It didn't include the people actually there, they had no idea or feel anything regarding what was happening 1/2 a mile down the river. The Olympians normally mingle and celebrate a togetherness in the stadium, this was very much segregation at its best. On TV, it was like watching the boat race for 4 hours! So boring and a mash up of everything tacky about France. 1 star given for Celine but even she looked lonely. Why not have a replica of the Eiffel tower in the stadium and let the audience there and at home enjoy the performance together? A bold attempt to be different but it failed badly.
