If you’re offended by the f word this is definitely not for you! It’s used practically every time someone opens their mouth. It’s based loosely on a true story. However the woke brigade decided that they had to be diverse and introduced non whites when they were not part of the story. Black judges did not exist in England until late in the twentieth century. Nevertheless it’s a good story but predictable. There were a few laughs in the cinema as it’s supposed to be a comedy.

Very poorly cast. The actor who played Elvis is 6’5” and the actor who played Priscilla is 5’1” so he towered above her which looked weird. The film itself is not well acted in fact there was a lot of muttering which was difficult to hear and the lighting is so poor being dark most of the time. Elvis comes across as controlling and aggressive. Unfortunately he can’t challenge the depiction which I feel is very unfair. Priscilla Presley is the Executive Producer so it’s a pity she allowed the story to go ahead in this form especially as the last scene shows her driving out of Graceland to the song “I will always love you”!

An absolute load of irreverent rubbish. Walked out after an hour!

Weird and ridiculous; bears little resemblance to Dickens’ novel. One star for the actors and their characterisation none for the story. How was David Copperfield Asian when his parents were not? Ditto for some of the other characters. The colour blind casting tests your imagination. I didn’t find it funny and nor, it seems did the rest of the audience as there was no laughter or even a titter. In fact some people walked out half way through. I was tempted but thought it must get better; it didn’t! If you liked The Favourite you’ll love this film. I liked neither.

Good film worth watching. It’s funny, sad and well acted. Tells a story about a boy in the Second World War in Germany. Loved the ending

This is an awful film; contrived story; poor acting; why so dimly lit? After 20 minutes I wanted to leave but thought it must get better. It didn’t and I was sorry I wasted another hour of my life! I actually fell asleep it was so boring.

Loved it. A feel good film with a happy ending. Feline dion was good in her first acting role
