In the beginning of the film I thought it was so darling. I was too old when Barbie made her debut, but purchased many Barbies for my grandchildren and my great nieces. They all love them. Back to the film...it got too slow and didn't see that much of Ryan (my favorite). In recommending it to others...I will give it a 2. I think younger children will not get it. Cute but ended up boring. Sorry. However, I love Ryan in anything.
