An engaging story plot in the beginning. It started off well and it made me curious what was the secret subbu had found. Narration is really good.
But i find a lotta trouble in this book.
( Spoiler Alert)
There is no proper closure for any character in this book.
How an ambitious (college goer)alka who wanted to win for her mom became a home maker? How strange is that? Did she fight for her or even for the people like her? All she did was to complain what had happened to her but never really worked to make things any better.
Krish though he's married to Manasi,I don't see him appreciating Manasi for how hard she was trying to put the family together. And he thinks it was a dead marriage only after meeting Alka. Seriously!? I thought he would now atleast realise how Manasi is struggling and will be putting efforts to make things right. Idk how this man became a vice-president when he cannot think for himself.
I actually liked the character Manasi. The only girl with sanity and who wasn't influenced by any.
Why No woman in this book will stand-up for themselves or even want to work?
What Mrs.Shetty and Tanvi thought after Alka's confrontation?
What subbu missed in those 2 days? A slave or another worker at his estate or wife?
What was actually Alka fighting for? Or did she even fight?
