As a fan from the first motorsport title, giving up on Gran Turismo, this game is a million percent a FM5 repeat. It’s buggy, incomplete, lacks any sort of soul, and the career mode is a total dumpster fire. And before anyone says “oh, it’ll have updates”, **** you. Pay $100+ for a game and wait 6+ years for it to get this? What a slap in the face. Games getting released incomplete is a total cash grab and shouldn’t be allowed. The cars sounds are absolute garbage, and I can’t spend my credits on the mods I WANT? I have to roll through an RPG esque talent tree to unlock my damn mods? Get bent, Turn10. I’m not sure what project manager ran this show, but they should be canned. I’ve spent my later teenage years and so far my adult life immersed in these games because of how good 3, 4, and 7 were. People comparing this to the “old games” never played them. 1 and 2 were stepping stones and 5 and 6 reek of this one. Unenthusiastic driving, a career mode for toddlers, the list goes on. Not to mention how horrible the feedback is on vehicles, controller or Logitec wheel. I’ve spent about 5~ days messing around in this game and have TRIED to like it, and I just can’t. It’s so bad. And now reviews are being taken down by Microsoft and XBox? Just goes to show how poor and politically driven everything is now days. What a total disappointment.
