I’m shocked by the reviews of this book. The first chapter is a mere 5 pages and it hooked me. This was my first novel by Eliza Jane Brazier, a local library pick and an unusual one for me. I googled her only pages in, saved her in my apple books app determined to remember her name and seek out more. Learning she does screenwriting as well excites me! Pleas do one for this book!! The style of writing, the details, the raw and relatable descriptions. I found a favorite author pages in, I can’t wait to explore more. I have seen 5 star reviews for books that flounder in comparison to this writing style!
