I watched this fabulous movie for Sadhana only. Of course the story was engrossing, the photography marvelous, and the songs excellent. But it was Sadhana who left a lasting impression on my mind. She's breathtakingly beautiful here, and Oh so graceful with a lilting , musical voice. She set the fashion trend of churidaars, which prevails even today.This movie is almost 60 years old, but it's so stylish even by today's standards. And in some scenes Sadhana looks like she's stepped out of a fashion magazine of 2024 !
