Great series with reality of war, drugs, alcohol, sex, racial issues & protests @ home about Vietnam, Soldiers were badly treated when they returned home, no one that I knew was excited to go off to war but did what their country called them to do, I was a senior in high school when the fighting was halted but served later in the Army using a lot of the weapons & training aides that were used & shown in this series, I own this 3 season DVD collection & have watched it multiple times, the actors played a very realistic part. I wished there had been more seasons made or that a remake would come out.
