My favorite of the Hunger Games movies. Well filmed and casted. The arena scenes at the end were well done. I wish they wouldn't have left out bonnie and twill. They were important characters. As far as appropriateness, not appropriate for kids but ok for mature teens and adults. It's more violent than the last one, and likable characters die. There's also a bit more sexual elements, such as Johanna in the elevator ( we see it from the back, nothing private visible )and finnicks shirtless costume. But nothing too grapic. Overall probably mu favorite in the series.

This was a good movie. Really showed Snow's downward spiral. The deaths were brutal but not graphic. The characters were well cast, though none of the actors will big names. I really enjoyed this and will watch again. After reading many christian reviews that said the movie was evil, ( I'm christian, conservative by the way) I was in for a negative movie, but I don't think it was that anti christian. The violence wasn't even as bad as mockingjay. The movie had actually a somewhat christian worldview, with messages about pride comes before a fall, and that selfishness leads to destruction. I think what they didn't like is that lucy gray said at one point that humans are born good. Again, I am christian and I wasn't offended. There's no sex, except that snow is shirtless. The christian website said the movie was promoting transgenderism because of the skirt on the uniform, but again these websites only give positive scores to Great american family romance movies, and also said the mario movie is promoting transgenderism because kamek dresses up like peach, and by the way, if you watch Harry potter or wizard of oz you worship satan, ( I don't like those movies, but that's abut to far) so the verdict is, if you watched and likes the other hunger games watch this. If you didn't like them or haven't watched them, wouldn't recommend. Also not for kids. But teens it may be appropriate good movie, and looking forward to sunrise on the reaping!

I finally saw this movie. I had heard it was not woke unlike recent Disney films and I had liked the first one. I enjoyed this film, and thought it was funny, and true with teenager growing pains. The new characters were very funny. There's really no objective content, though little kids may not get puberty. Though about puberty, there's no talk about body parts or sex. Like I said, though many people expected Riley would be lesbian or non binaryin the movie, she isnt. However, as I get it, some Christians may feel against buying tickets to a Disney movie because of recent movies such as Lightyear. But to me the better thing is to pay money for movies like this and not woke films. Then Disney will make less agenda films and make more fanily friendly ones.

Such a funny film! This was a funny and clean film. No language or agendas. Nice and lighthearted. Alot better than the critics say. The animation was well done. I highly recommend this movie. Loved Loved this movie! So fun and creative. It isn't exactly funny, but it's more cute. It is quite sad at times. The acting is well done. I wish some of the ifs would have more screen time, especially the marshmallow dude. As far as child friendliness, there is no suggestive elements or violence, though the plot is kind of upsetting, as the mom dies and the dad gets heart problems. However, there is some language: many missuses of God's name, and a few D---s and H---s all said around kids. But overall an appropriate movie, though the whole message may not be understood by kids. If you are a cry during movies person, bring lots of tissues. But I do not cry during movies. Parents guide: Violence: mild- characters fall down. Main characters mom dies of cancer. This movie is very fun and entertaining. It is well filmed and tried to use as little CGI as possible, which I enjoy in a film. Of course, the dinosaurs are CGI. The characters were cast well, however, I do not think Bryce Howard was the best choice for Claire. I wouldn't recommend this film to kids because of the violence and languages, but it is a good watch for teens an adults. Parents guide: Violence: severe- lots of dinosaur attacks. Security guard is eaten by dinosaur. Several dinosaurs are killed, and we see their injured bodies. The dinosaurs attack a tourist village, and it is implied people are killed. A woman is picked up by a flying dinosaur and thrown into the water, where she is eaten by a water dinosaur. A plane has a firey crash, killing everyone aboard. Two teen boys are chased by a dinosaur, but survive. Spoiler: the t Rex dies at the end. Sex and Nudity- mild: Claire and Owen kiss. Claire wears a tank top in the second half of the film. A man wants to kiss a young woman but she says she already has a boyfriend. Probably the slowest of all the movies, more a transition movie, but still very intriguing. It also has the hanging tree, which is one of my favorite songs. The movie is kind of slow in boring at times, but it builds up for the next one. I love the scenery in this one. I appreciate that they filmed at real places and not cgi sets, though of course 13 is CGI. Many of the scenes were shot In the Atlanta area, including in Newnan, where I've visited. This is a well made addition to the series. Parents guide: Violence: severe- girl visits destroyed town, she steps on a skull. Decomposing bodies are seen briefly. Cars is a fun movie for the whole family. What I like about it is some of the characters are based off of real entrepreneurs on route 66. Sally was inspired by the lady who owns the rock cafe, and the late mayor and the antique store owner were inspired by the late owners of Joe and Aggies cafe. It is a funny feel good movie. Parents guide Violence: mild- car rips up road by accident, we see the damage. One car character is easily upset. The whole plot around the dying town is sort of upsetting. The statue of the late mayor is ripped of a podium. We see a flashback of the town dying. The races may seem a bit intense. Sex and Nudity: mild- no nudity, because there are no people in the movie. Two female car fans of lightning try to impress him. Joke about the anti rust solution on the cars rear end. It is implied Sally has a crush on lightning. Car cheerleaders for the blue car are seen Profanity: mild- a few profanity replacements like darn and a few misuses of holy Alcohol and Drugs: mild- one hippie car character owns a fuel shop that seems to be like a bar. It is implied he is on drugs. Age rating: 8+

Decent but mediocre film. Much like Kung fu panda 4, I saw the high box office numbers for this film so I decided to to see it. I felt rather disappointed. The plot was confusing, and there was too much cgi violence, and even some gore. This is not a good movie for little kids, when that seems to be the target audience. If your into monster movies, you may like this, but if you aren't, don't waste your time. Parents guide: Violence- severe: lots of cgi violence between fighting monsters. Monsters attack cities, it is implied many are killed. We see people falling of a pyramid and bridges being crushed. A nuclear plant is destroyed. A blue creature is killed and eaten by giant apes. This game is fun! Rented from library and sad when it had to go back. It's like super mario 3d world met super mario odyssey. Lots of fun power ups and levels. I love the luma shops. Cute characters, like the smeech and slurpie. The game is tough but fun. The star earning can get annoying, but this is a game that entertains. For a wii game, it's ahead of its time. Parents guide: Violence: mild- like all Mario games, enemy's are killed by mario, often in humorus ways, and of course Mario can die. Nothing gory. Some scary ghost galaxys. Lumas eat star bits, and get fat and turn into power ups. One galaxy was originally going to be set in Hell, complete with demon trees ( which you can still see with the camera if you zoom in, but fortunately, it was changed to shiverburn galaxy, so nothing to worry about. Sex and Nudity: the smeech, a small pink flying thing which appeals on yoshi levels will suck yoshis mouth untill you shake it off. More just gross than romantic. Profanity: none.
