Story is entertaining, but pacing of series is not good at all. The actual story of Jeffery Dahmer is intriguing, thrilling, and scary all at the same time. Evan Peters is excellent as Dahmer. But unfortunately, the pacing of these episodes is far too lackluster. It’s very boring; the minutes drag on with very little happening and it feels like the major events are happening in slow motion. What should have been addressed in 10 minutes lasts an entire episode. The pacing also jumps around in time and is not chronological at all, creating a confusing and jarring feeling. Characters do not act realistically. There are long pauses between exchanges and words that wouldn’t occur in reality. By the end of the series, I felt unfulfilled and like so much more authentic entertainment could have been provided by the time taken up.
