For a movie based on Napoleon and a part of French history, there were many inconsistency and modern political correctness, a black guy as a general in French army, elements of modern feminism, feels like watching something off twitter feed. Pedantic use of French language, use of madame is there but no one in the whole movie uttered monsieur, only words used from french are the words already naturalised in english and that too are very few coup, madame, heir, can't think of more right now.
