I've followed this franchise since it's first offering in 1979 and on the whole have loved it's development. There has been some disappointments with plot I.e. Alien 3 but at least we had Ripley to keep us intrigued. This last offering however is aimed at two things, a very young audience and a means to make a 'fast buck'. As the pitifully weak story line dragged on I very soon got to a point of not caring which character was the next to succumb to the Aliens advances. Enough said you know the rest, spaceship, screaming, blood and gore and a girls voiceover at the end. The special effects weren't that good either.
