One cannot help but marvel at the energy of Joseph Prestwich, working essentially an amateur. The thing I took away of most importance from these forty six pages was his general impression gained, that rather than moving the history of man back to a much earlier age, he should move the incidence of ( now) extinct species forwards to a more modern age.
