Entertaining but overly contrived. Everything that happened in episodes 1 and 2, felt forced if not gratuitous. From the opening scene, to the introduction of each new character, to the unnecessary accident, to the sometimes eye-rolling dialogue, every moment of this show was designed to beat viewers into accepting this is a rough and dangerous place filled with stereotypical tough guys and stereotypical women and stereotypical danger. We weren’t invited along, we were grabbed by the arm and told precisely where to go. I plan to give it another chance or two but so far I’m disappointed.
