I loved it. I don’t get all the hate the movie is receiving. Halle’s voice and personality was perfect for Ariel. I think they did the original justice. The prince got an actual personality and they actually spent time developing his relationship with Ariel so it was actually believable that she wanted to leave the sea for him. They were like kindred spirits. The CGI wasn’t perfect but it didn’t take away anything from the movie for me personally. I say go watch the movie and decide for yourself if you like it. I went with an open mind and it blew me away.

I loved it. I watched my parent struggle with something similar to queen Charlotte and George and they really captured every feeling down to the effect it would have on the children, I dont think ive cried this much in a while
