Cheap Skate

The child actors are just simply bad. It's hard to expect good child actors but I have yet to cringe this hard... The storyline, effects, and emotions are good but the ACTING is terrible. Many side characters (that are older than 12) do an amazing job but the main characters are (obviously) mostly what you see. The random backstories and sidelines the show takes are meaningless, and boring. I personally skipped them for the first watch, then rewatched it to its entirety without skipping, and it made no difference other then saving me time. I dont know how to explain it, but the show feels rushed and slow at the same time. Nothing eventful happens, yet random love stories or friendships take a turn to create the illusion that something eventful is happening.
