Mr. White (Nick Name)

This movie was kind of a joke. The special effects were laughable and the storyline was redundant. The cast seemed to be more impressed with the special effects than I was. They stood gaped mouth and silent through most of the special effects scenes. It appears as though the cast were not invested in this movie at all. They all phoned it in. The young boy playing the sympathetic possessed child was comical to look at at best. Every exorcist trope was used and milked to death in this movie. Russell Crowe was mediocre at best, I felt that this movie was a vehicle for Russell Crowe to show off ability to speak Italian. The only thing scary is that the movie did not end fast enough.

The female lead got dumber and dumber as the movie progressed. Doing things like being recorded at the bank, taking off her helmet in the tunnel, pointing a gun at her teammate, striking the team leader, and threatening to expose the team for what they are doing. The first questions she was asked where if she had any family. If she was this big hot shot cop she would know damn well that that made her expendable. It seems as the movie progressed she was doing everything she could to get herself killed. I’m still watching the movie but I hope to hell that she ends up splattered and left in the desert.
