Disturbance presented in ecstatic beauty, with ambience and imagination.
Personally I would say it's Lynch's greatest work other than lost highway and twin peaks, of course.

Once you understand what this movie is trying to show, you'll apprieciate it a whole lot more. Kubrick was the guy to direct this movie. This movie is more than exceptional. The evolution of mankind, hunger, and human nature.
