I teared up at the Stan Lee cameo. I’ve heard him say he loved the character because anyone could imagine themselves under the mask, and to have this movie come out with that same message was amazing. I’m Asian so I could never pretend to be a super hero as a kid, but I could put on the mask to be Spider-Man. He was small like I was, had a high voice like me, and liked science like I did. And now he’s here in the perfect movie with a message that said it was always ok for me to be Spider-Man as a kid, and we can all be Spider-Man. I took my 5 year old daughter and she walked out saying spider-woman was the coolest (and she was). The movie was perfect.
