I didn’t think it was that great. I feel like Amy’s acting was poor even when she was being “real” Amy and not poor, battered and beaten Amy. There were parts of the movie that went with the book but weren’t explained so therefore wouldn’t make any sense to someone that didn’t read the book. It has a really good storyline though.
