It took me a bit to get into this. Especially after watching Jesus of Nazareth!! An Epic for sure. I am receiving this as the Laws of Judaism started becoming more important than the people of Israel! Kinda like Martin Luther to Catholicism!! Very well done and endearing! I consider myself a Judeo-Christian and the Chosen explains to me why! This show is relatable for all whom struggle with faith and God!

The ambiance of the movie was truly beautiful. To hear Maria Callas is to know why she is very much remembered her voice was above them all. However much Angelina was strikingly resemblant, although prettier than Maria, her acting was stiff and uninviting to watch! Basically boring! It’s a shame bc a movie should be done about this woman. I am sure it was a tough roll to play but Angelina is not an accomplished actress as say Merrill Streep who probably would have done a great job! It was just a tough role to pull off especially carrying the whole movie by yourself. Good try Angelina

Actually, I like it! It’s everything the reviewer says. Campy etc. GOOD cast which makes it flow… not to mention the authentic mass accents

What is notable is how Americans, once wealthy took great pains to replicate British Snobby Society. Which explains a lot of where we are now. Great show if you love history and period pieces. I won’t say acting is top draw like Downtown, but delving into the origins from initial of freedom to the industrial revolution and why Mark Twain, quite rightly dubbed this the “Gilded Age” it was not a compliment. Can’t wait to see it all.
