I could go on FOREVER about this book. But I won't, I promise. Warning: spoilers ahead!
Griffin deserved so much better than what happened to him. Though he goes on to commit terrible crimes, he very quickly becomes the one and only lovable character. Instead of a senseless monster, you follow the trail of a desperate man who was pushed beyond limits that humans should never be pushed to in their lives.
The ending had me crying. I literally had to take the rest of the night to recover because of the incredible brutality that he endured and, in my opinion, didn't deserve. Did he deserve to pay for what he had done? Yes, but not in the way that he ultimately did. I'd try and fight Kemp too, Griffin. I'd try and fight him too.
