My thoughts on Shyam Singha Roy movie: Natural star Nani and director Rahul Sankrityan's Shyam Singha Roy is a psychological, innovative and periodic story in every sense of the word and is beautiful. It creates hearts melt situation with top notch performance by Nani, Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetti, Rahul Ravindran, Madonna Sebastian, Murali Sharma, etc., and all characters are memorable. Outstanding artwork which showcases the West Bengal backdrop, color tone of each frame is amazing. Mickey J Mayor's music proved to be a musical hit - an outstanding and talented artiste whose personality and works tugged the heartstrings of many. Cinematography by Sanu John Varghese is beyond excellence. Costume design (Periodic looks) by Anusha Punjala and Neeraja Kona is amazing. I believe it as a passion and daring project for a new producer Venkat Boyanpalli's passion, highly appreciated. Lyrics by late Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry garu and Krishnakanth are great - all songs are situational, melodious and feel good on screen, and really pleasing to the ears. Story by Satyadev Janga is great - writing such a psychological and periodic story is not an easy task. Art director David Kumar's skills in creating Kolkata backdrop is excellent. Overall (Direction, Starring, Art, Music and background store, Lyrics, Dance, Costumes, Story, Editing, Locations, Camera, etc.,) it is great movie, and entire team deserves great applause. My rating is 10 out of 10.
