I waited to play this album, with intention, I believe. I didn't want to listen while anyone else was listening. I didn't want to listen while anything was actively dropping or any other factors would potentially impact how I listened/received the album. I don't regret that decision. The album felt refreshing & different than most of what I've been listening to recently. I wanted to focus on exploring more music than my usual playlist this year & I felt like this was a good addition in that regard. It's versatile, explores various subject matter, & flows well. Not every song is a hit, of course, but it is a likable project overall. Could definitely listen more than once, especially to certain songs.
