Meh, entertaining but not something I would be racing to rewatch let alone anxiously await a follow-up for. I'm getting a little disinterested in movies that are dark because dark sells. It's also a little too gritty and real when I'm looking for more fantastical. My ideal Batman would be something along the lines of Christian Bale's Batmans with Batman Begins set pieces. Then throw in a slightly toned down version of the classic 90's cartoons style enemies. You know the kind of bad guys that seemed to be having a blast doing what they do. There's no reason Batman can't be dark, gritty - and fun.
