Good show, good writing, but I agree it has a heavy feel that it was written by snarky millenials who lean on the cliché of “old” people being dumb or uninformed. If we are to assume this is loosely based on Joan Rivers, she was easily able to win over younger audiences well into her 70s. Nevertheless, she show loses momentum at points and searches for bittersweet moments which dont always play out well.

This movie becomes a modern day “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf” with a large helping of excessive narcissism and self pity. If the house was better looking we might have forgiven the tedious rantings.
