I like the series.
I admit I am puzzled by the two sons of the commissioner . The grandfather, the father, the daughter, the grandsons and granddaughter all have reasonable table manners. Yet the sons, especially the son who went to Harvard Law School, eat like a couple of truck drivers at a Jersey diner( I am from New Jersey).. The now deceased mother one assumes raised all her children the same.
Is this by design? It seems to demean the police officers unfairly. I see no reason why they would be chosen to stand out for not have standard dining courtesy, particularly when the Sunday dinner at the grandfather's home is such a popular segment of each episode..
