Just watched Khorkuto on Jio Hotstar and found it Exceptional with good humour highlighting middle class family values & rituals some of which have been forgotten with corporatisation. Yes some incidents are a bit much but can be by-passed if one takes into consideration the basic message that the makers are trying to bring forth. Some of the idiosyncrasies can hence be overlooked. However I haven’t rated 5 stars as I felt the climax just didn’t go with the full presentation - The rhythm was lost It can only be compensated if there’s a second season of Khorkuto with the same cast All the characters were so well depicted The chemistry between the lead pair was just super and that’s what should have been highlighted Hope the makers give serious consideration for coming up with season 2 even if it’s shorter than season 1 but please end it on a happy note. There’s so much violence, pain and suffering in this world - a well written, relatable, light hearted, romantic serial like Khorkuto would do wonders for uplifting sagging morale
