This game is decent but it's missing some big popular factors from previous MH games Like adding people to a friend's list which seems to be non-existent in Rise. Instead now you have to go to some Nintendo thing and manually add people as your friend through Nintendo and not through the game which seems like a lot of work. The online hub is extremely small only allowing 4ppl in each hub which is a downgrade from world by a lot and usually online is my favorite part about MH games but for Rise it's a giant let down on top of it being kinda difficult to communicate to other players. Other than those few factors I love the monsters and the gameplay but I just wish they could make online better.

I havnt played any pokemon games since X & Y and WOW I was highly disappointed with Sword and shield. There isnt much to do and not very many hidden areas(should not have gotten rid if HMs). In Previous games it was easy to get lost or spend lots of time falling through holes in caves which made it fun because you could find hidden areas with hidden legendary pokemon/items but nope you spend most of your time walking around the wild area catching pokemon(Very Boring). I guess my Hopes for this game was way to high which it shouldnt have been since previous pokemon games had all sorts of different competitions, 4-6 catchable legendaries and hidden areas. I think they could of gone above and beyond by adding more interaction with your pokemon(HMS) riding some pokemon would of been fun or getting them to follow you. I know they have a camping option but I want more interaction activities with the pokemon maybe like cleaning the pokemon or individually feeding them treats, petting them something more than just wiggling a toy in front of them or just talking to them. I want to be able to connect with the game/pokemon but I couldnt. To easy, to straight forward I beat it in 3 days not many side quest. Just overall dissatisfied with what could if been an amazing game that had fantastic looking legendary pokemon and a fantastic story just wish it was more. Seems like it was quickly put together just dont expect it to be like the previous games.
