Incredibly moving and one of the saddest movies I’ve ever seen. I saw it 30 years ago and the memory of it never left me. I just watched it again and it remains just as disturbing.

Fascinating and extremely disturbing. Although I find graphic violence repellent - in this movie it is absolutely necessary - it’s what makes this movie memorable and worth a trip to see it in a theater - on a wide screen.
